Life can feel like a constant shuffle between responsibilities, expectations, and the pressure to have it all together. Whether you’re a busy mom, creative spirit, or a new plant parent trying to keep your plant babies alive — it’s easy to feel disconnected from yourself. You’re craving peace, clarity, and something that grounds you. I know that feeling all too well, and that's exactly why this space was created.
I’m Lakeisha — founder of Pink Pothos, entrepreneur, mama, former IT and project management girlie, and soft life seeker. I didn’t grow up dreaming of owning a plant business. Pink Pothos wasn’t born out of a perfectly curated business plan — it came from a very real need to slow down and breathe. What started with one plant turned into fifty, and then a full-on indoor jungle that became my peace. In time, that peace grew roots in the real world — into pop-up markets, workshops, and eventually, my shop!
Now, I’m opening the doors to another space: this blog. Rooted with Lakeisha is a lifestyle blog that blends plant know-how with real-life healing, motherhood moments, slow business reflections, community stories, and the everyday rituals that keep me grounded. We’ll talk about things like how to style your plant shelf, yes — but also how to reclaim your energy after burnout, why repotting isn’t just for plants, and what it really looks like to grow something of your own.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re starting over or craving peace, I made this for you. This is your invitation to grow with me — softly, intentionally, and in good company.
